What you Think about, you Bring about

Curiosity about neuroscience and the Rewiring of our belief system led me to the discovery of the Reticular Activating System (RAS). Ironically the more I held this in my consciousness, the more various sources of information manifested in my reality.

A great example of the RAS in action is when you buy a certain brand of vehicle, you suddenly notice that same car or truck everywhere! They were always there, but you didn’t notice before.

The RAS is located at the base of the brain. It acts as a filter from all the data that is around us – our brains can only process so much at a time. It also reveals to us survival information when needed. It typically only passes through that which it considers important, otherwise we would be come overwhelmed very quickly.

How does it know what is important? Outside of survival, it’s what you focus on the most.

Have you noticed that people that say things such as, I can’t remember names, never remember names? Or people that say they can’t lose weigh, rarely lose weight? Be aware of your thoughts!

Your RAS will show you things to prove this is true for you. The more proof you see, the more you believe it to be true. The stronger the belief, the more self-talk occurs to reinforce this belief. This goes around and around until this new belief becomes wired into your brain.

A mentor told me to practice installing any new belief into the RAS by visualizing for 30 days straight.

Remember when that new belief becomes wired and opportunities manifest, you must take massive action! Action Creates Transformation (ACT).
