Mindfulness in Crisis

Many of us have extra time on our hands right now.

Are you using your time wisely and skillfully to maintain optimal mental health?

When left alone with our minds and especially during a crisis, we look to divert stress.

Food, booze, weed, TV, social media all help temporarily distract us.

This is now compounded with additional mental health risk caused by social distancing.

Time is a primary obstacle and excuse for not establishing or maintaining a meditation practice.

What better time than now to practice skillfully attending to your mind to find peace, calm and stillness?

There may be an extraordinary amount of stress developing in the world over the coming months.

Please don’t procrastinate, divert and avoid, use this time to take care of yourself and those you love.

Thoughts are not facts.

However, we become them if we are not able skillfully observe them come and go.

In the last 3 days, I have started to develop online Mindfulness coaching sessions by request for a group adults and now also children. I’m highly motivated to volunteer my time to this cause.

No one is immune to this virus or the associated negative thoughts, energy, and circumstances that come with it. But we can develop resilience and balance with practice and strong intention.
