For the very first remote Midlife Rewire Podcast, my Sister Laura joins from LA to discuss being fit over 40. Health and fitness were not something that we are were introduced to growing up. #14 Gary Leblanc – Living at Zero Decibels

Why is there so much dis-ease and anxiety going into the new decade? Gary returns to the podcast to talk about the level of noise we are subjected to and how it has never been greater.
Living at zero decibels is about reducing the noise that distracts us from our purpose and joy. Noise can be categorized as physical noise (health, environment), mental noise (limiting beliefs, fears), emotional noise (not forgiving, judgement) and spiritual noise (tech, loneliness, individualism).
Gary walks us through a theory he has developed into a graph that illustrates how to ‘nudge’ us along and break through the point of inflection in our lives that can often be defined as a midlife crisis.

Pierre is an entrepreneur, hospitality executive and an exceptional human being. I asked Pierre to share his Ayahuasca ceremony experience on the podcast to give another perspective on how amazing this plant medicine is and how transformational the experience can be.  Pierre is not someone you would expect who would partake in such a ceremony, on the surface, however his story and recollection of the details was absolutely deep and intriguing. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview and the beautiful bottle of red wine we shared while recording it!

In this episode I share my unscripted experiences with Ayahuasca dating back to my first ceremony in Feb of 2012. This is my first solo podcast which I feel is appropriate considering how personal the journey is. This ancient life changing medicine helps to heal and awaken us to our highest potential. I refer to this as a ‘peek under the curtain’ of truth and our perception of reality. The stigma around plant medicine and psychedelics has diminished in recent years as more and more research and information becomes available to the mainstream.
